Mom's Meatloaf
This recipe will take you back to your childhood, or maybe your last trip to Cracker Barrel. Nothing says love from the kitchen like a plate of homemade meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Thanks, Mom!

- 3 lbs ground chuck
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp finely chopped onions
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 3 tbsp Worceshire Sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup Karo syrup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line 2 jelly roll pans with parchment paper.
Mix ground chuck, eggs, milk, bread crumbs, onion, ketchup, Worcestershire Sauce, salt and pepper with your hands and shape into loaves, about 1 inch thick.
Bake for 1 to 1 and a half hours.
Remove from oven and transfer loaves to second jelly roll pan.
Baste with ketchup and Karo mixture and return to oven for 15 minutes.
Slice and enjoy with mashed potatoes.
