Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

If you thought pound cake couldn't be any better, you just haven't tried it with chocolate chips! Top with Cool Whip or Ice Cream and you will never go back!

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg chocolate instant pudding mix 3 ounce box
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup cooking oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Grease and flour cake pan, I use Baker's Joy. I also use a cake pan, but you can use a Bundt Cake pan.
  • Mix cake mix, pudding and sugar.
  • Add water and cooking oil and continue to mix.
  • Add beaten eggs to this mixture and incorporate well.
  • Add sour cream and mix until all ingredients are mixed.
  • Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into cake pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  • Cool for 15 minutes in pan on wire rack and then invert onto serving plate to cool completely.
